Photography & adventure brought us together

We both share a huge love for hiking, photography, and outdoor adventures. We met through the Canadian Rockies photography community - little did we know we would be adventuring together for the rest of our lives!

We became adventure partners, and fell in love ♡

Then, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, changing life as we know it for basically everyone on earth. However, we were very blessed to have each other to navigate through this new world with.

Though we were unable to travel together as much as we would have liked during our first year and a half together, we had a blast hiking as much as we possibly could and going on photography road trips together.

We fell in love with these new parts of Canada - and each other.

He asked..She said Yes!

In August of 2021, we went on a series of overnight backpacking trips in Jasper National Park.

On the second night of our time at Jacques Lake backcountry campground, Mitch popped the question while we were out taking some photos at sunset! It was the easiest ``yes`` of Jenn's life.

We moved to Mexico!

We'd always wanted to live in and explore another country together. At the end of 2021, with Mitch's contract job coming to an end and the current state of our home country, it seemed as if the right time had finally arrived!

We made the decision in October and within a couple of weeks, we had sold a lot of what we owned, fit the rest into a 10x10 storage locker, hopped on a plane and embarked on our new adventure!
